The Communication Specialist / Manager Media Relations would be handing the media relations role and lead media outreach initiatives, inclusive of pitching, handling inbound media queries, and managing relationships between TransKarachi and local, national, and international media.
In addition, the specialist would promote the BRT-Red Line project in media briefings, conferences, interviews, press releases, and articles. The position is responsible for promoting and protecting the company and project reputation by developing and executing effective media and public relations strategies and plans for brand building/innovation, corporate promotions, crisis communication, internal communications and corporate communications/affairs initiatives through the use of various media outlets.
Education and Experience:
Master degree in media relations / mass communications / journalism / public relations or related field from a HEC recognized university. Foreign qualification will be considered an added advantage.
Minimum 10 years’ progressive experience in managing communications, media relations, and thought leadership in a reputed company. Demonstrated experience of preparing and implementation of media and communication strategies is essential and a requirement of the position.
