Purpose

The position will be responsible for the development of current CP business for Corteva Agriscience™ which will have significant impact in long term. Currently the primary responsibility is alliance management (Corporate and non-governmental organization) and managing key accounts and end users.

Market Development Manager will keep track of emerging business models and work out business plan for Pioneer to participate in the same. Market Development Manager will coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Integrated Field Sciences, Finance and Supply to ensure proper service to customers and alliance partners. He/She will be responsible for joint promotion, training of field staff and joint brands building with distributors.

Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze market trends & opportunities. Develop and implement strategies that increase both unit sales and overall profitability of the product line. Apply advanced knowledge of pest management to create differential competitive edge in the market place.
    • Liaison with business partner/distributor
    • Actively understand corteva products and act as a training and reference resource for the distributor, customers and dealers.
    • Liaison for Product registration, Agronomy, Trials for Crops
    • Revenue delivery for integrated business using leveraged models

Qualifications

    • M.Sc (Hons) Agriculture / Master in Agri Business

      5-7 years CP business experience
