The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work, which demonstrates his/her passion for illustrative design and typography. The candidate will have experience in working with numerous design platforms such as digital and print forms. His/her role will be to meet clients' business objectives and requirements of the design job and develop design.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting internal clients to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the design job;
• Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research;
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts for different assignments keeping in mind the aims and objectives to be achieved;
• Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients ;
• Working with a wide range of media, including print and digital;
• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work;
• Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches;
• Conceptualizing original website design ideas;
• Up-to-date with the latest graphics and web trends, techniques, and technologies;
• Post processing of photographs;
• Working as part of a team with copywriters, photographers, other designers, account executives, web developers;

Work Schedule:

• Business hours may extend into the evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of current workloads and event schedules. Flexibility and commitment is necessary. During the Covid-19 situation, you may be allowed to work from home in intervals, which will require you to create a suitable work environment for yourself (internet connectivity, an environment that supports your productivity at home per your own preferences and working style).

Qualification: 

Bachelors / Masters degree in Graphic Designing from an HEC recognized institute

Knowledge: 

• Knowledge of post processing and creating artwork files for printing;
• Knowledge of printing techniques;
• Technical knowledge of difference between different platforms i.e.: Print, web, digital and video;
• Adobe Creative Suite;
• Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom and Urdu InPage;
• Microsoft Office (Word and Power Point);
• Knowledge of other software will be an advantage;
• Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 will be a plus;

Experience: 

3-6 years experience of graphic designing in a client focused environment
