About The Department
Customer Engagement Unit within Novo Nordisk Pakistan, that provides you with the opportunity to drive overall Customer Engagement strategy and programs to effectively engage with HCPs. The team consists of highly motivated Commercial Excellence, Business Analyst, & Event Unit personnel who are passionate about improving the lives of patients with diabetes.
You will be part of the Management Team and report to the Vice President & General Manager of Pakistan.
The Customer Engagement Head will drive the overall affiliate Customer Engagement strategy and the programs that enhance our overall Customer engagement & experience designed to ensure we effectively engage with HCPs. The Customer Engagement Head is expected to have a cross-functional view (Sales/ Marketing/ Commercial effectiveness, CRM) and to act as a central franchise and company champion at all times.
This role will be driving continuous digital innovations throughout the commercial organization. Furthermore, (s)he will identify, design, and execute integrated data analytics to develop new insights & meaningful recommendations, and influence Line of Business at all levels to incorporate in decision making, such as Business Unit’s marketing and sales strategy and tactics. The Customer Engagement Head is also required to drive optimal usage of CRM (which among others include maintaining detailed knowledge of all aspects of projects linked to CRM, establishing ways to leverage and/ or improve usage of CRM, and recommending the use of CRM and data to improve customer experience).
This role will also be responsible for coordinating with the APAC Commercial Affairs and Strategy team as well as working on a cross functional basis at a local level ensuring that all stakeholder/ customer needs and perspectives are considered, ensuring that local plans & tactics are prioritised to achieve desired goal.
The position holder complies with Novo Nordisk principles and local legislation and regulations defending company interests. Nevertheless as a requirement of the business ethics; defending the confidentiality of company’s as well as patients’ secrets, business plans, ideas and strategies against the third parties.
Assigned responsibilities related to position requires travel and flexible working hours as the activities are executed in accordance with the stakeholders’/ company’s’ available places, times and the timelines of meetings.
You are expected to have a minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in business administration or relevant. Minimum of 10 years of Sales & Marketing Management experience with at least 5 years of people management experience. Must have multi-channel/ digital customer engagement experience at local level, with proven success track record in pharmaceutical industry (or as service provider to the industry). Good experience in design and delivery of multi-channel/ digital tactics, including agency management with operational experience of digital marketing programs and campaigns.

You have good business acumen with a global vision and strategic thinking along with proven leadership style.
Excellent proficiency in English both written and spoken.
